My children are exhausting me. Ellie had a total meltdown before dinner because her "homework" required her to color a flower purple and she colored it yellow. I suggested she color the purple over the yellow but she told me NO, it was ruined and no good and then she threw a marker and i told her to pick it up. Then she spent the next 10 minutes screaming that it would dry out and demanding that I put the cap on. Of course, i refused. And then dinner was gross and she hurt her foot and on and on.
Oh, and i just saw that Toby pooped in Frisco's bedroom. I need wine!
I'm okay. Today was kind of rough but I'm better now.
Stabilized and eating is good. I am glad you are okay too. It's hard when you can't just ask questions and get even a little bit clear answers.
Oh, Lisa, poor you and poor Swifty!
You do need wine, Stephanie! Poor you and poor Ellie, too.
lisah, good to hear. BTD-somethinglike-T. Not fun.
And java, that's very cool. This is the capsacin (I'm murdering that-chile hot stuff) based stuff?
Stephanie, nights like that totally suck the life out of you, I know. HAVE WINE. For sure.
Kat, if you're around, I have yoga questions in LJ. Again.
I had to bust out the command line at work today. My memory of MS-DOS, she is rusty. But I told that malware to SUCK IT and it got on its knees.
Badass.
Awww, Stephanie, that sucks. Emmett used to get that way about homework. You had to follow the rules exactly, and any deviation caused stress and strain.
Oh Stephanie, wine is most def. called for.
Sorry about the kids ganging up on you Stephanie.
I'm still at work and it's getting old.
Today's Bizarre Moment in Facebook:
Last Saturday, I rode the BART with an interesting guy. He was wearing a bunny hat. And carrying a plush carrot. And sporting a bunny tattoo. And reading
Watership Down.
A friend posted that she was looking into getting a bunny tattoo, and I told her about this wacky guy. One of her friends—whom I don't know—asked if he was talking to an invisible friend named Harvey, and I said that no, but the guy's name was Levy.
At which point she realized that I was talking about her ex-boyfriend.
As a bonus, we have a mutual friend from my pre-LJ online diary site. Oh, Internet. Never change.
Oh, and Frisco's teacher very nicely let me know that his hitting/pinching/biting is becoming a problem. Which it is at home too. He is very rough with Ellie. But she usually starts it and he isn't as verbal. I'm willing to let them sort it out to a degree (I can't punish every hit, etc) but I don't want him causing problems either.
