Because books.

Stephanie, nights like that totally suck the life out of you, I know. HAVE WINE. For sure.

Kat, if you're around, I have yoga questions in LJ. Again.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I had to bust out the command line at work today. My memory of MS-DOS, she is rusty. But I told that malware to SUCK IT and it got on its knees.

Badass.

Awww, Stephanie, that sucks. Emmett used to get that way about homework. You had to follow the rules exactly, and any deviation caused stress and strain.

Sorry about the kids ganging up on you Stephanie.

I'm still at work and it's getting old.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Today's Bizarre Moment in Facebook:

Last Saturday, I rode the BART with an interesting guy. He was wearing a bunny hat. And carrying a plush carrot. And sporting a bunny tattoo. And reading Watership Down.

A friend posted that she was looking into getting a bunny tattoo, and I told her about this wacky guy. One of her friends—whom I don't know—asked if he was talking to an invisible friend named Harvey, and I said that no, but the guy's name was Levy.

At which point she realized that I was talking about her ex-boyfriend.

As a bonus, we have a mutual friend from my pre-LJ online diary site. Oh, Internet. Never change.

Trust my rage

Oh, and Frisco's teacher very nicely let me know that his hitting/pinching/biting is becoming a problem. Which it is at home too. He is very rough with Ellie. But she usually starts it and he isn't as verbal. I'm willing to let them sort it out to a degree (I can't punish every hit, etc) but I don't want him causing problems either.

Dude! I hope there's a cold beer waiting for you at home.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Things are not good at home right now. I'm not really sure how much more I can cope with.

Amy, I answered the yoga question (though unhelpfully) there. But it also occurred to me that maybe you could check your public library to see if they have DVDs you can test drive?

These days I'm a freak and I unwind by editing, but it will be too late for that tonight.

Because books.

I saw, Kat! Thank you so much.

And I'm sorry about life at home. Wine for you, too, maybe?
