I am slowly recovering from running this morning. While I was at the park, I picked up a new brochure/map and it turns out they've recalculated the mileage on the trails I've been running.
So the 3.8-mile run is actually 4 miles, and the 4.6-mile run is actually 5. Which makes my distance since Friday morning 13 miles. Woot. (Ouch.) Need protein.
Now to the hardware store for more paint.
So I'm going to cut out gluten for a couple of weeks and then (1) see how I feel and (2) eat a bagel or something after that couple of weeks and see what happens.
Even if you're not allergic, if you cut out gluten, your gut enzymes that digest carbs will decrease and the next time you eat it you will probably feel uncomfortable. So (1) might be evidence of an allergy. But (2) might be a false positive. E.g.: [link]

I am watching a Brian Boitano cooking show on the Food Network and wondering how there could ever have been any doubt about his orientation. Back when my ex talked about bumping into him in a gay bar in the 90s he made it sound like a big revelation, but I don't think even Liza Minelli could mistake this guy for straight after a minute in his company.
Also cracking up that they actually licensed the South Park song for the title sequence.
Matt, I am still surprised that Scott Hamilton isn't gay. He pings ALL my gaydar.
I'm not sure if the two are related but has anyone taken probiotics and felt nauseous after about a week in? I've experienced the same symptoms with pill form (Align) and liquid (raspberry kefir) form. It's like a certain level of biotics build up in my stomach and suddenly my system has to kick them out.
DH doesn't like veggies so I'm constantly trying to work them into my meals separately. I think roasting might be good to try. With vegetables, do I just need a roasting pan or do I need a rack, too?
Who's going to take the blame for me watching the entire freaking series of "Kidnapped" tonight?
ita.
At least it's why I mainlined the entire series in about two days. Then thanked her because it was brilliant.

When I make the broccoli thing, I just use a cookie sheet. However, I am not a good cook, so there is probably a more-appropriate way to roast veggies.
Thanks, Cass! I thought it was ita but then worried I was misremembering. It's BRILLIANT. I am just hoping it holds up for all of the eps.
I use a cookie sheet with aluminum foil, because I hate cleaning the roasted on extra garlic or whatever. Possibly a rack would make his easier.

A cookie sheet does fine. But I tell you, no matter what I put in these things, it tastes splendid. Yeah, they're pricy, but they last forever and pay for themselves within weeks if you actually use them instead of eating out 1x fewer a week.
