Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

CJ is pretty good about eating his vegetables. Last time I took him with me to Costco, they were sampling the Super Juice - a dark green veggie juice and he LOVED it. I buy a jug for him whenever I'm there.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Yeah--Beverly Hills is close for me, but I'm eating for one most times, so why bother? It does sound tasty, though.

The Losers was fun. Definite summer explosion fare, and if you've ever found JDM hot, this movie will make it worse. Also Idris Elba and Chris Evans. I came home and ordered the comics so I can check their storyline against the film.

So sorry you're not feeling healthy enough for movie, Amy. I hope it clears up soon.

I don't eat as much as fruit as I'd could, because I hate when it goes bad. I do do my best with fruit juices, drunk diluted. In mass, though. I can plow through clementines, and I try to have at least a banana a day. But if I, say, have an apple too, that's most of another meal. My tummy has no libido.

I'm drinking beer right now. Stout and ice cream. Tasty.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I was going to go to sleep early, but I am eating ice cream instead.

No beer though.

Oh dear. Not that I mind. Maybe I can get to a matinee this week, after some antibiotics kick in.

Loki bolting outside when I went to get something from my car + heavy rainstorm= comedy gold! He stood on the steps, getting more and more soaked, CRYING in indignation and trying to sniff the weeds. Did he run back to the porch or under the front door awning? No. Just CRIED. And hissed and growled halfheartedly at me when I scooped him up to go inside. Walnut brain.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Mmm, stout and ice cream. I have neither. I want both.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I am looking forward to The Losers, but it will have to be next weekend.

Right now I'm watching DW and hiding under my covers from the scary. They show this to children?

Two things where there is more for y'all since neither appeal to me.

Lokes is still washing. And whining at the door. Doesn't get it.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Weirdly, [corn] actually tasted pretty good raw!

There's a super-sweet variety called Mirai that they advertise out here as being best eaten raw.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I think I might not be able to butcher animals I raised.

Me neither. I could be vegetarian and I'm fine with gathering eggs and milking.

-t, corn must be planted in multiple rows so it will cross-pollinate or something, otherwise the stalks won't bear ears. If you have a small space make three or four short rows--even two or three plants per row--rather than a single longer one.

Oh, well, they're in the ground already. I'm really not expecting anything anyway. I didn't clear the area I was planting them in or anything, just dug holes in the grass and stuck the seedlings in - way ad hoc. If some of the stalks survive long enough get tall and I can gaze upon them while I'm washing dishes, that'll be pretty sweet.

My closest farmer's market doesn't open for almost two more weeks. I am impatient.

I am far less likely to eat fruit than vegetables. It's weird to me when I think about it, but I hardly ever make fruit a part of a meal (though it's always really good when I do), and I'm not much of a snacker, somehow. Or not much of a sweet snacker, I guess. I'm more likely to want nuts or crackers, seems like.

Edited because I woke up in the middle of the night thinking "I typed the wrong 'there' - must fix."
