Oh, I wish all airlines would do this! Well, really, I wish that there was more room between seats so that if someone in front of me reclined back they aren't impeding on my space. That is maddening.

Dog Leads Alaska State Trooper To Fire (VIDEO)

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP)-- A dashcam video from the Alaska State Troopers shows a dog leading them through winding back roads to a blazing fire at his owners' property.
The video on the troopers' website shows the German shepherd running to meet the trooper's vehicle, then racing to the house on Caswell Lakes on April 4.
Troopers say Buddy and his owner, 23-year-old Ben Heinrichs, were in the family workshop when a heater ignited chemicals. Heinrichs told Buddy: "We need to get help."
The dog eventually found a trooper responding to a call about the fire.
The State Troopers are presenting a special award Friday to the dog. Buddy will receive an engraved silver-plated dog bowl in Anchorage.
Heinrichs suffered minor flash burns on his face. The workshop was destroyed, but only some window trim on the house was damaged.

sara! If you and your neighbors are going to the market in teh morning make sure you stop by Team With a Purpose's bakesale table! It's the last time they are going to be able sell baked goods there. The merchants were complaining they were stealing business. feh.
I missed the Project Runway thanks to some technical fuck up on Comcast's part. I'm still not sure I understand why - but for some reason, despite having the digital cable box I can non longer see: TNT, Animal Planet, Food TV or Lifetime. All channels I'm supposed to get.
I hope that PR goes up On Demand quickly!
Nora, sad to say, there is no Trader Joe's in New Orleans. There are a couple of Whole Foods, though.
