My questions for the evening are:
What is the accent that says "Ma-TURE" and not "Ma-CHURE." for the word mature? And how do they pronounce "nature"?
When did people start carrying drinks/coffee/water with them everywhere, and why? I remember in college, when someone had a plastic reusable cup for tea, I was so excited by it she gave me one for a present. Also, I feel like I was one of the onl;y people who drank during class, and it was considered kinds rude. This was 1991-1995.
I got my first reusable mug in university, maybe 1988? 1989?
Kathy, I love spicy carrots! Only thing I make from my time in Moldova. But my recipe doesn't use soy sauce and there's chili pepper instead.
I'm watching a Frontline show about pollution in the Chesapeake Bay and Puget Sound. The head of a poultry association is saying that, since some of the pollution coming off of chicken farms might actually be from wild animals in the surrounding area, there is absolutely no way to regulate the pollution. I hate people.
I bought TJ's beets. They better not suck, or I will blame oonu.
Got carded buying no alcohol again at BevMo. I was not snippy this time, just snarky. And didn't show any. Yet when I bought all the alcohol? Nobody cared.
Wore my new dragonfly necklace today. Couldn't stop fidgeting with it. It feels pretty. Now I need (more) dragonfly earrings.

Another reason to miss TJ's. Over spring break Kelly brought me some Maple Cookies from TJ's - OMG, NOM!!!
The massage was wonderful and my head feels better. I think the lights at work are a big part of the problem and there isn't anything I can do to change it, just work at home.
Ahrg. I think I recycled my water bill by accident. Gotta see if I can pay it online... eta: nevermind, I already paid it. It was the Verizon bill I haven't paid yet.

I started wearing sunglasses and a visor at work. My boss looked askance at me. I pointed out that there was nothing in the dress code that forbade sunglasses and visors, and that the lights were causing me headaches that negatively impacted my productivity. She pinched the bridge of her nose and went away. The next day a facilities guy came and turned off the fluorescent lights above my workstation. IOW, I win.
