I think I got lucky, hiring a guy I work with.

I now know that my neighbor's cat is capable of taking down a rat. Go Pooch! And, um, that was freaky. He's not big. But really a good predator.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

One of the cool things about having barn cats is we got to see that sort of thing a lot.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Thanks DawnK & askye. They look like a good deal, as long as I'm willing to do office work. I haven't seen any other place that has their benefit package.

I hope they take me on...

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I passed ground school! I still have to take the FAA exam, but the ground school exam takes its questions from it, so I'm feeling reasonably hopeful. And, honestly, I was more worried about disappointing my teacher (who reminds me of my dad) than I am about whether I can pass the FAA test in front of a stranger.
