Mal: Okay. She won't be winning any beauty contests anytime soon. But she is solid. Ship like this, be with ya 'til the day you die. Zoe: 'Cause it's a deathtrap.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Sending a paper thank-you maybe gives plausible deniability that it just took a long time to get there. They were supposed to be deciding "early this week"? An email could both thank them and check in on the timeline, I guess.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Man, I missed that about being in University. We were such obnoxious dressers. We'd team-overdress at the drop of a hat.

Oh, I know. My university used to have a tradition where we dressed up for football games - a stadium full of women in sundresses and men in khakis and ties.

Tradition has largely gone by the wayside since the stupid football coach wanted everyone to wear orange, and gave out orange tshirts. But, now he's gone and we can go back to the way things used to be.

Now tagless for your comfort.

What is this pay-pur of which you speak?

Ouise, is it one of the hospitals in the city? It might get there in the mail overnight.

We'd get together, have sherry before dinner, then go to the dining hall for dinner.

Oh you should have gone to my school. We had a formal meal every wednesday where we had to wear our academic robes. I can't remember if we had a standards for what was worn underneath.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I have envy of the overdressers. I've always been too timid in my dress, I know. And too guilty to spend the money to buy truly gorgeous clothing. And I'm too friggin' lazy to be honest.

“Not dead yet!”

My FiL quite admired Jilli's wardrobe, especially after we told him it was her daily style of dress.

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

Thanks, guys. Helen might pop in later, when she gets an internet connection (phone misbehaving).

Ouise, is it one of the hospitals in the city? It might get there in the mail overnight.

Yes, it is. That's a good point.

I hope so!

I have inherited a pet peeve from my mother: Their minister wears a robe to preach in, and thinks that means it doesn't matter what he wears under it. We can still see your pants and shoes! Crappy khakis and boat shoes are not appropriate!!

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

My late Uncle, who was a Federal judge, wore boat shoes and jeans under his robes all the time--the only excuse was that he often went right from court to his actual boat.

But his job as a judge was behind a desk, right? Not the case for the minister.
