I have envy of the overdressers. I've always been too timid in my dress, I know. And too guilty to spend the money to buy truly gorgeous clothing. And I'm too friggin' lazy to be honest.

My FiL quite admired Jilli's wardrobe, especially after we told him it was her daily style of dress.
Thanks, guys. Helen might pop in later, when she gets an internet connection (phone misbehaving).
Ouise, is it one of the hospitals in the city? It might get there in the mail overnight.
Yes, it is. That's a good point.
I can't remember if we had a standards for what was worn underneath.
I hope so!
I have inherited a pet peeve from my mother: Their minister wears a robe to preach in, and thinks that means it doesn't matter what he wears under it. We can still see your pants and shoes! Crappy khakis and boat shoes are not appropriate!!
My late Uncle, who was a Federal judge, wore boat shoes and jeans under his robes all the time--the only excuse was that he often went right from court to his actual boat.
But his job as a judge was behind a desk, right? Not the case for the minister.
A lot of the people I have friended on Facebook talk about their personal relationships with God. As an atheist and a curmudgeon, I wish they'd stop talking about how God likes carrots and just update their Relationship Status already, and this is why I'm going to hell.
Bah. Was not expecting rain today.
There's a lot of things that I wish people would stop talking about on Facebook. God is just one of many.
