Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

If I didn't have a belly, I'd totally buy that obi belt.

Is it possible that my fridge is leaking water because there's too much stuff in the freezer? It isn't defrosting; it's as cold as it's supposed to be, so I don't know why there's a waterfall in the fridge. Maybe I should spend a day cooking up all those cuts of meat. And then eat nothing but meat for a week. Maybe the universe wants me to go back on Atkins.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Can you change the password?

Physically? Yes. Politically, not so much. The coworker was given a promotion and control over some of the content on the site (although not some of the stuff she changed), and I can't really yank it without the director's permission. I'm hoping that the director is giving her enough rope to hang herself. Either that or the director really believes that it takes three weeks to write a press release.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

javachick- in response to your request upthread, we don't have our listing up (probably not till after we are off the premises), but here is the other unit in our townhouse building. [link]

Bear in mind that ours is bigger, has a parking spot, has (IMHO) a better yard (grass with deck off kitchen, bricktop patio in the back of the yard for a table and chairs, and garden beds along the perimeter. Oh, also an awesome shade providing tree.) And off street parking. And it will be cheaper. (because we are very motivated sellers.)

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Have I registered here my distress that you're moving away? I mean, NOLA is awesome and all, but that means you two won't be around. SIGH

Because books.

Nora, if your place is bigger than that one, with the additional amenities, *and* cheaper? Wow. If I lived there and had the money, I would snap that up in a heartbeat. Really lovely.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Wahh, Insomnia, and major migraine. No work at least this morning. Obviously I'm also out of pain meds.

Because books.

Cold comfort, I know, but I sent you some pictures of a lovely baseball player, ita. I'm sorry about your head.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Uggghhh. I had a night full of really boring stress dreams. I don't remember what they were now, but I did when I woke up at 6.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Ugh. Sorry for the bad nights and mornings, all.

information libertarian

I just bought a $60 camera from ebay. I hope it works. (It says it does, but somehow electronics are sketchier to me than kid clothes.) Since Casper and our neighbors (6, 5, and 4) were all taking photos with mr. flea's expensive DSLR last night, it seems like having a cheapy point and shoot for everyday and travel is a good idea.

The children spent a lot of time taking pictures of each others' bellybuttons.
