I don't give a good gorram about relevant, Wash. Or objective. And I ain't so afraid of losing something that I ain't gonna try to have it. You and I would make one beautiful baby. And I want to meet that child one day. Period.

I always hear the H when I say her name, even though it isn't audible.

Speaking of neighbors, I really hope I didn't flash mine this morning. See, Loki snuck out on the deck this morning, and leapt over to Anna's. So I had to climb over and get him. In my bathrobe and nothing else. I would have gotten decent but the wind was freaking him out and he wasn't leaping back over. So.

I hope I didn't, if for no other reason than to not get the rep of the male couple who far, far, far too many people have seen naked. Unwillingly.

Yay for Nora and Tom's excellent New Orleans adventure!

She's not my subordinate! I have no control over what she does and doesn't do!

Can you change the password?

Punishingly Intricate

That benn is always in the local media! About the protest today I guess? (against putting a freaking 24 hour walmart in our neighborhood, essentially).

Yup. I was not really on the fence so much ( don't hate Walmart wholeheartedly like my dad does) but I'm really not pleased, if for traffic reasons alone. It's stirring shit on my neighborhood listserv, and the mobtown shank was linked before I could.

I always am tickled when he's on The Signal. Boy knows how to present.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

new dinner tonight for mac, black beans and rice. Thank you Chipotle for increasing his food range. That means another can of food gone from the pantry. I had grilled cheese, so only perishables, but then garnished with pickles and olives which helps get through those bottles. Also made another pitcher of iced tea tonight, that is almost a full box of tea I've gone through in about 3 weeks. YAY!

Both lamps that I got off ebay have come in. The green one got chipped in shipment, but I'v been able to glue almost all of it back. WAH! and it was packed well too! The black one went to my parents. I got lampshades for them both, but not the two-tiered funky ones, just plain conical fiberglass ones that are era correct, but kinda boring.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Yay Tom and Nora!

It's probably a good thing Supernatural has no theme music.

I get earwormed with the menu music on the dvd. Which, now that I think of it, would make an excellent text message indicator.

msbelle, I have to ask, how big a pantry do you have? Also you have unknowingly encouraged me to look at the things at the very back of my shelves (and, um, bottles in the fridge) and USE THEM. This week I will make lasagna.

lisah's friend Benn is on my tv!

Hey! Benn is my friend too. Though lisah knows him much better, I may have known him longer (like before Rachel lived in Baltimore. Before they owned Atomic!)

I just finished the Strawberry Crockpot Jam. The yield is 16 4-ounce jars, 2 8-ounce jars and a little bit in the fridge. I'm worried that it won't jell up enough, but I doubled the pectin. The upside to the slow cook is that you don't get a mess or burns and you don't have to skim off foam. The downside is it takes hours.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

this belt is totally you, except I think you own one already

Ha! Good call. I own at least 4 obi/cummerbund style belts. But not in leather! I will have to stare at that a long time. Maybe I need to spend some of my tax refund money frivolously. And I was looking at wide leather belts this weekend, but they were all cheesy.

Hmm. Sounds like I've talked myself into something. Thanks!
