I keep having to play well with others today, and I'm getting tired of it.
I keep having to actually be conscious today. I'm really tired of it.
Ok- I am pretty sure that the advice for this is to seek medical attention, but remember the cold I had 4 weeks ago that lasted 14 days with some lingering congestion? Well, I still have it, and today I feel like crap and my face hurts. I wish I could just call the doctor and have him send me antibiotics as the doctor is one of the things it is really hard to do by bus-- it is a 15 minute drive or a 45 minute walk from work and a 2 hour busride. I wish that I didn't like my doctor so much, because I would totally switch to one who works in the hospital's ambulatory care center.
OK, so, yeah, Tom talked to the dudes at the place and they were awesome so we are moving to New Orleans on or around May 12. SHENANIGANS!
So, gotta find some movers and, you know, move 1000+ miles away in like 3 weeks.
Whooo! New Orleans, here we come!
When you say your face hurts, do you mean the area around your cheekbones? And your eye feeling kind of droopy? If so, then you probably do need a doctor.

Can you just go there for this, and keep seeing your regular doctor for routine stuff?

OMG. That's so crazy. CRAZY AWESOME.
SHENANIGANS!
Nora, that's awesome!

Yup. Exactly that.
The funny thing is that I don't at all mind walking the 45 minutes to and from the doctor's, but not when I am sick! But I hardly ever have to go to the doctor if I am not sick. My friend K takes me sometimes, but she has had to miss a lot of work taking both her mom and dad to the doctor's lately, and although she works for the theatre, I don't think I want to risk it.
My stupid dilemma of the day: Go out of my way to buy some tickets, or pay $10 in fees.
