Don't worry, we're sure to spot Faith first. She's like this cleavagy slut-bomb walking around 'Ooh, check me out, I'm wicked-cool, I'm five-by-five.'

See, this is why he should've called, Nora! Email is stresscakes.

Totally remember your assistant, Suzi. How awful. Flowers?

oh, Suzi, a most unfortunate crosspost. I am sorry to hear about L and I do remember you talking about her and her cancer. I'm so sorry.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I think calling is stresscakes too, though. But deep breaths, Nora -- people involved in hiring decisions never seem like they move fast enough for those who are being hired.

Punishingly Intricate

Do I send a card? I'm not sure what the appropriate thing to do is. I haven't seen or talked with her since I moved to Colorado.

I think so. I'm sure she'd be happy to hear from you even if it's been a while.

I know! But he needs to do what he is comfortable with. Ugh.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I wouldn't worry about it, Nora. These kinds of requests need to go to the right people to sign off on, and that can take a few days. I know is our pretty small company, it can take a week or so for everyone to sign off on a simple hiring matter like this one.

I know waiting is stressful, but I would give them a week from when the request was made to recontact them.

hip deep in pie

I think a card would be nice. Or flowers.

Nora, I think I would wait until tomorrow and call. But I'm used to working for gov't where the process takes forever.

Would it be OK to contact the operations manager to just check in and make sure everything's OK? They want him to start ASAP and we're gearing up for that aggressive timing so it would be nice to touch base to ensure that things are ticking along at least.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Oh, hey. I got a new tattoo. It's a little bat. Very cute.

The Admin Assist we used to work with is going to try to visit her today and will get an address for me. L is going to be staying with her daughter, so none of us have a "current" address for her. Hopefully after the visit today, we will have a better idea of the best way to proceed.
