I got a parking ticket this morning! Outside of Owen's school. The school, for whatever reason doesn't have a parking lot. So the neighborhood is militant about school people parking on the street. I got pinched by parking in the spot where pick up is supposed to occur after school. Even though I was parked there from 10 am to 11 am for volunteering.

I wonder if FLYlady is spying on me. She just sent a message about all the people who ask her to adapt her system to other lifestyles (working women, men, etc). Basically she says adapt it yourself, which I think is actually fine. Even though she annoys me, she is providing a FREE internet service that I can join and leave at will. I do wish she would be more inclusive and think about why she is not, however.

Well, I did manage to get all the pre storm chores done including firewood and the library. But then the SO went out on a bison delivery run, so he`s driving back now and it`s started. Bless his generous heart, but dude next time have generous impulses with a little more lead time.
Wind was crazy this morning. Serious backdraft while I was starting the fire. So bad it set the smoke alarms off. So then I had the doors open and everything was swooping around the house and then it was cold so the heater kicked on. All very exciting for about five minutes. But it`s going now. I`ma get in the shower and then get the laundry going in case we lose water.
