Yes. Both of mine are usually within a few feet of me.

Cripes! Upstairs neighbor has bedbugs! He informed the building A MONTH AGO! unlike me, he has the mental capacity to deal with taking legal action against them since they have never taken action in common areas or informed the residents. Jesusita, we do NOT need an outbreak of them again.
If Jeeves is not in his closet, he likes to be in the same room I'm in. Sometimes, he'll insist on being in my lap. Other times, he'll just settle in on a nearby piece of furniture. The kitty-underfoot thing happens from time to time as well, but he's been accidentally kicked/stepped on enough that he's pretty good at keeping his distance for the most part.
I am in the office right now and both cats JUST HAPPEN to be in here with me. In a few moments, when I go to the kitchen, they will eventually JUST HAPPEN to be in there. Nothing to do with me, no sir.
Oh jeez, msbelle.

Yep. It's especially funny when he tries to guess where I'm going and gets it wrong.
Cortez generally wants nothing to do with any of us unless it's time to eat, when some rubbing against your legs goes on. But he was a stray and maybe used to being on his own? He's happy to let you pick him up and pet him, but he really doesn't seek you out.
The kitten, though. I should have named him Velcro. Good thing I'm sort of fond of him.
Eww, msbelle, one more reason to glad you're moving into a place of your own!
People always say my cat has a dog's personality. I just call him needy.
Successful consumption of oatmeal this morning!
Which hopefully balances out the tacos I got from Jack in the Box last night at 11:30.
Leifur will usually stay in the same room as me for a couple of hours when I get home and when I get up in the morning. But eventually he wanders off. He's affectionate, but he's fine with a little space.
