Wash: So, two days in a hospital? That's awful. Don't you just hate doctors? Simon: Hey. Wash: I mean, present company excluded. Jayne: Let's not be excluding people. That'd be rude.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My nails have been blue all week, but I just added green glitter tips.

I love that! Good luck!

Because books.

Maybe he wants to have sex with you.

Which leads to me say that I've had that lyric "I might like you better if we slept together" in my head all. damn. day. And I have no idea why. I haven't heard that song since 1986 or something.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Burrell! Wash your brain out with soap! No one in this building wants to sleep with me. That is canon.

eta: What song is that from, Amy?

Because books.

I think it's actually the name of the song. Possibly by Romeo Void. I'll go look it up.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

"Never Say Never" by Romeo Void.

Whoo, tommy saves me a Google! I got the band name right, anyway. I think I still have that EP somewhere.

I will youtube that when I get home. I've never heard of them or it.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Romeo Void! I went from hating that song to loving it.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Romeo Void, San Francisco band. Credit the sax player, Benjamin Bossi for that solo. I remember dancing to that song in a club in Columbus, OH in 1982 or so. I also remember a scene set to that song with Aidan Quinn dancing around with punkish fervor. Some teen bad boy drama thing when he was young enough to be a teen bad boy.

Here's the link, ita. Wow, I can't believe I can't remember this video now. So very New Wave.
