Mustard and mayo in egg salad!

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Call me when In 'N Out makes a chicken sandwich. I have yet to go there.

I used to be more into ketchup than I am now. Now I like ketchup with fries and that's about it, I think. I like mustard on hot dogs/sausage, along with grilled onions and sauerkraut if it's there and appropriate.

Mmm, mustard on bratwurst. Nom nom nom.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

A true Chicago hot dog joint doesn't even have ketchup in stock, except for the little packets so you can put them on your fries. The belief is that ketchup doesn't go well with the all-beef flavor of the Vienna Beef hot dog (which is what 99% of the hot dog joints use).

As an only recent user of mustard, however, I do have to admit that I prefer ketchup on my hot dog over mustard, at least the yellow type (brown mustard is nigh impossible to find at a hot dog place). Also, put on onion, pickle spear, and celery salt, but leave off the sport peppers, relish, and tomatoes.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

In 'n Out is good because of the freshness and the simplicity. The shakes are made with ice cream, not shake mix. The meat isn't frozen. The lettuce and tomatoes are always fresh. Basically, it's burgers made the way they were made all over the US before fast food took over.

Best of all, if you order animal-style, they coat the burger with mustard before they grill it, then add grilled onions to the the topping and it is seriously deelish.

brillig

Cheesesteaks should have shredded beef and lots of melted provolone and nothing else. Unless they're on garlic bread, which is also okay.

Word! I have no clue why people think green peppers are a default with cheesesteaks. There were always a pile of onions on the grill in all the diners I went to in Philly for those who wanted, but I didn't see any peppers ready to go.

Egg salad, as per my mother and the lady at the lunch counter when I was a kid: Eggs, mustard, mayo, sweet relish. Celery seed if you're being high falutin'.

Tuna salad: extract the mustard.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Allyson, I would suggest talking to G

You know, they have done so many nice things for me over the years that I haven't been able to reciprocate, I just would feel uncomfortable asking for a favor.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Sweet potato fries are surpringly good with cheese.

Sweet tater fries are excellent with seasoned salt on them.

There's a 13" Macbook Pro that I can't afford (would have to buy on credit), but is the least expensive one that would handle my needs.

Macmall.com is clearing out some of its Macbook Pros because of the new ones that were just released. And I'm ashamed to admit this, but in looking at the specs, I cannot tell what makes a 13" Macbook Pro "better" than a 13" Macbook. I know one is aluminum and the other is unholy white. I know the Macbook Pro has a firewire port and the Macbook doesn't have one. And I know the Macbook Pro has a SD card drive, while the Macbook doesn't have one.

Beyond that, processor speed seems the same, as do the rest of the technical specs (I understand that hard drive size and RAM are variable; that's not my issue).

Am I missing something? Or is the different just in the SD card drive and the Firewire port?

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Allyson, through academic pricing at my uni, I could get you a 13" Macbook for $845 (probably about $900 once you add in the various taxes, but still). E me if you're interested.

eta: Macbook Pros are $1049 (2.26) and $1099 (2.4).
