Ketchup doesn't belong on hot dogs, that's a job for mustard.
Truly said! I like Dijon mustard, onions and relish on weenies. Preferably an Italian (mild or spicy) or a brat or a properly cooked bockwurst.
Burgers vary, though I've eaten a lot in the last two years since Emmett's been on a burger kick at home. At home I cook it with Worcestshire and salt and pepper, and melt a slab of cheddar on it. And we usually serve it on an English muffin which just works really well with a smaller burger. Emmett likes it with just ketchup, I usually opt for ketchup and lettuce, and relish if I have it.
JZ likes curried mayo for fries.
I desperately need a new laptop. However, I am poor. There are laptops on sale at the caltech store, but I'm unsure what they mean by "pre-gen" in the ad. There's a 13" Macbook Pro that I can't afford (would have to buy on credit), but is the least expensive one that would handle my needs. I mostly just use it for writing, web surfing, and music.
Any idea on what pre gen is, and is it a concern?
Burgers have cheese, and maybe grilled onion. The barest touch of mayo. Ketchup on the fries. Sweet pickle relish on the hot dogs.
And this still doesn't explain why people think In and Out is All That.
Allyson, does it need to be a Mac? Because I use my laptop for pretty much what you just said, and got a great Asus for just under $600 with a 16" inch screen.
All of my software is Mac, so I wouldn't have to make new purchases there.
And this still doesn't explain why people think In and Out is All That.
In the book Fast Food Nation while every other fast food chain was ripped for its horrible nutrition and methods, In 'N Out burgers was put forth as a proper model for fast food.
They use all fresh ingredients for one thing. You can watch them cutting up the fries from actual potatoes while you're standing in line. Anyway, it's pretty straightforward but it's fresh and well made and cheap. Also they taste really good. Much better than any other chain burger I've had.
Mayo is an offense to all that is good.
I heartily agree with this statement.
