Ketchup goes well with red beans and rice.
And I'm from New Orleans, so none of you can argue with me.

I offered my father ketchup and rice once. He went ballistic. I haven't even eaten it since, he was so mad.
Ketchup is a proper flavoring for potato chips. It doesn't belong most other places. Mayo is an offense to all that is good. Fries should be had with either chocolate milkshake or malt vinegar.
Ketchup and mustard on burgers. No onions, lettuce and tomato only if it's tomato season.
Ketchup and mustard also on fries and hotdogs.
Fries on burger only if I'm in France or a French restaurant.
Mayo on fries if it's aioli.
Sweet potato fries are surpringly good with cheese.
Favorite fries - The Spotted Dog's beer-battered cheese fries with bacon (soy if you prefer), hold the sour cream and chives, side of ranch. Yeah baby.

sounds like heaven.
The peppercorn ranch & bacon burger from here is my current favorite burger [link]
I'm getting old. All of this sounds like a heart-attack to me.
Ketchup doesn't belong on hot dogs, that's a job for mustard.
Truly said! I like Dijon mustard, onions and relish on weenies. Preferably an Italian (mild or spicy) or a brat or a properly cooked bockwurst.
Burgers vary, though I've eaten a lot in the last two years since Emmett's been on a burger kick at home. At home I cook it with Worcestshire and salt and pepper, and melt a slab of cheddar on it. And we usually serve it on an English muffin which just works really well with a smaller burger. Emmett likes it with just ketchup, I usually opt for ketchup and lettuce, and relish if I have it.
JZ likes curried mayo for fries.
I desperately need a new laptop. However, I am poor. There are laptops on sale at the caltech store, but I'm unsure what they mean by "pre-gen" in the ad. There's a 13" Macbook Pro that I can't afford (would have to buy on credit), but is the least expensive one that would handle my needs. I mostly just use it for writing, web surfing, and music.
Any idea on what pre gen is, and is it a concern?
Burgers have cheese, and maybe grilled onion. The barest touch of mayo. Ketchup on the fries. Sweet pickle relish on the hot dogs.
And this still doesn't explain why people think In and Out is All That.
