I should get out. I'm freezing in my apartment. It's almost 10° warmer outside.
I've seen that video before, but it made me teary watching it now. Oh, brave old world, that has such people in it.
I know! It's an antidote to the people suck malaise I usually feel.
aurelia, that's an entirely charming video. Made much more charming by the fact that not only can homeslice apparently not dance, but that a lot of the people who join him decide to dance just like him. But India is my favourite.
However, unlike the movie, he hasn't suffered a psychotic break. Lars didn't have a cute idea. He went off the non-violent deep end.

This car thing is interesting -- Our friend T came down here -- and his alternator is not good. As in it is being replaced in our driveway now....

I've done everything but mop and make soup. And I should put on outside pants and make a Walgreens run.
I should iron the (nice) dish towels I'm using as a half-assed tablecloth, but meh.
Just got back from the bookstore. Turned in my two-week notice, only to find out that I'm not even on the schedule for the next two weeks, so today was most likely my last shift! I'm still technically employed until the 24th, so I'm taking advantage of my discount until then.
Paro! Thimpu! Tiger's Nest! I miss travel.
I liked Lars and the Real Girl. Maybe because most of the people I've known who suffered a psychotic break became violent or suicidal. A break that lets the guy fall in love seems benign in comparison.
Off to wine and snacks down the street...
