Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I found the kindness of so many people to be really touching.

I think I've outed myself as failing on this front before. I don't even remember what the previous movie was. But in this one I didn't think they were right. Or realistic.

No magic for me!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

My cumin memory is the time my. Mom got up at like 5 in the morning to make homemade cinnamon rolls for my bro and friends the morning after prom. And in her half-awake state grabbed the cumin instead of the cinnamon. It wasn't until they were cooked and the scent of what my father declared Punjabi Rolls was wafting through the house.

Jessica, what's the parking like around you? That might be a bigger concern than insurance.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I have Issues with chili powder because I forget that the bottle has a flip-top -- a bunch of my spices don't; you unscrew the cap, and the shaker is there. So I unscrew the chili powder and go to shake it into the pot. Except oops! I dump it all in, instead.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Where I live now, I can park free on the street. (Otherwise I'd never even consider owning a car.)

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

How does this video affect you, ita? [link]

affect? effect? I'm doubting myself.

Affect.

I've seen that video before, but it made me teary watching it now. Oh, brave old world, that has such people in it.

I did that with red pepper flake, once. And then I tried to eat what I'd been making after scraping out most of the red pepper flake. I like it hot, but NOT THAT HOT JESUS CHRIST.

Considering that I slept ridonkulously late, I'm burning through my list of things to do. I stripped the bed, washed the sheets and duvet cover, remade the bed, did laundry, emptied the dishwasher and filled it again, washed the dishes that couldn't go in the dishwasher, ordered groceries, paid bills, and tossed some nasty stuff from the cupboard and refrigerator. Next I will sort paperwork, fold laundry, make a pot of chicken noodle soup, sweep, and mop.

Today was supposed to be a cleaning day. Instead I've done the first batch of spring planting and am chilling on the deck. It's freaking gorgeous here today. Especially considering we had snow two days ago.

I should get out. I'm freezing in my apartment. It's almost 10° warmer outside.

I've seen that video before, but it made me teary watching it now. Oh, brave old world, that has such people in it.

I know! It's an antidote to the people suck malaise I usually feel.
