I couldn't believe it the first twenty times you told us, but it's starting to sink in now.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

You've seen it?

Yeppers. Last weekend with the kids. I loved it too.

Tonight I got them to watch Cosmos. We were all snuggly and watching Carl Sagan together. Now they want to see more.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have a microwave! This is very exciting, and increases the chances I eat more than one meal a day.

If I set the clock.

If I crack the manual.

It's very pretty. Why can't it connect to the internet and tell the time like my clock?

Been poking around AO3. It's not the most simple user interface, but I feel that by the time I'm done I've whittle/sifted out the perfect story.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

P-C, I think some of the Transbay lines run all night. Of course, that requires dealing with the Transbay terminal, and it's probably preferable to sleep on your friend's floor.

I was in the Mission. I'm not sure where the Transbay terminal is.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Which reminds me, one of these days can you send me the recipe to the chicken you made that night (if you remember what I'm talking about).

Was it this? It makes a yummy sauce I usually serve over rice.

Chicken Gigi
6 lb roasting chicken (or as big as you can find)
salt and pepper to taste
2 (5 oz) packages of Boursin cheese
2 tbsp melted butter
3 sprigs tarragon
1/2 cup dry white wine

Preheat oven to 350. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Stuff cavity with cheese. Place breast side up in large roasting pan. Baste with melted butter and sprinkle with tarragon. Pour wine around chicken. Roast for about 2 1/2 hours, basting with the pan juices every 30 minutes. As cheese melts, mix into the juices. When chicken is done, tip to allow the rest of the cheese to seep into the pan. Transfer chicken to platter. Skim the fat from the juices and mix the remaining sauce well.

That is pretty cool sarameg. I was telling my kids about you and where you work. What did your friend Lisa do with the movie?

You didn't have the benefit of the intro, but all the bitty stars in the fly-throughs? She first removed them and then re-introduced them. They call her the Star Goddess in house. Zolt is Master of the Universe. (They are in the credits, which AWESOME.)

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Welcome to just about anywhere that isn't NYC, Jesse.

Hrmph. It's amazing how often I do things that aren't possible outside of NYC.

You mean when you fly past the stars and see the constellations move out of alignment? That was cool.
