We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

What Sue and everyone else has said, msbelle. Much good-breakthrough~ma to you and mac.

I'm on the phone with VirginMobile, whose on-hold music is annoyingly hip and has a transmission problem. Good thing with having problems ordering a replacement phone online is that ordering it on the phone means that they'll take the cost of the phone and car charger from my large balance (I never use the thing, but my current phone is falling apart, so I have to replace it) instead of my debit card. The new phone will have a phone on it, which is what I want, so maybe I'll start using it more.

Oh, new Who is something I'm looking forward to!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oh, wow, msbelle, that's huge. Strength to you!

I am all packed and ready to leave for my BOW workshop tomorrow. I have to wake up to leave at, like 6 am, because it's five hours away and they want us checking in at 10-12. And then I handle firearms later that day! Somehow I am worried this is not the best idea! Heh. I cannot wait.

And Dave & roomie are having the band leader over to rehearse stuff for his upcoming album, so they'll be having fun by themselves, too.

Oh! And heart news at the cardiologist was good today; looks like maybe it's just electrolytes? And dietary supplements and more veggies might fix it? Which is in line with it starting out when he was working out so much. So he's got a thyroid test he can do if the supplements don't work, but fingers crossed that it's just a bunch of vitamins and not thousands of dollars worth of tests.

So yay for healthier SO, because I was about to freak out about leaving him for three days while he was having heart problems.

Okay! Gotta eat and head off to rehearsal; I'm running sound tonight even though I won't be performing this weekend.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Good news, Liese! I hope it's the electrolytes and easily managed. Have fun shooting things and whatnot!

I wish I had something comforting to say, msbelle. That sounds very hard but inevitable and necessary. I hope the roughness is not too long-lasting.

New Who is something I forgot I was looking forward to.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Good news, Liese! I hope it is that.

It was 20 years ago today... that Twin Peaks premiered.

Yikes.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Yay Liese!

msbelle, I am constantly amazed by your strength and patience.

Cultural event I'm looking forward to: David Tennant's Hamlet will be on PBS sometime this month.

Right! Must look up and set dvr.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Whoa. Rain just came out of nowhere. Like, it went from dry and stifling hot to pouring and cool in about a minute.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

That is a nice write-up, but one of the photos (of Bob, natch) is an image that freaked me the hell out at the time. I was living in a 3 level duplex next to a wooded area with 2 roommates. Usually we'd watch the show together but I was home alone that night. Afterwards, not only did I check the lock on the front door, I went downstairs to lock the garage door, I locked the door to the garage, locked and blocked the sliding glass door to the back porch, double checked the front door and for the only time in my life, locked my bedroom door. I knew it was ridiculous, but gnaaaa. Freaky.
