The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Help me, hivemind. I need suggestions for high-fiber, preferably low-fat, snacky things that would be muffin or scone-like. I need to start paying more attention to my eating habits, but I also know what sorts of foods I crave.

Which you can always make yourself into mini-versions and freeze them in packs of four in ziploc bags for easy grab and go.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

TJs has some fruit, nut and flax seed bars that I found quite nummy Jilli, but my kids disagreed with me.

Astrology: I think that people in a given area can have certain traits due to when they're born, but that it's mostly due to the amount of light they were exposed to a various early developmental stages. So, in my idea of astrology, someone born in Ypsilanti wouldn't share the same traits as a person born at the exact same time in Sydney. And someone born at the late end of Libra probably has more in common with a person born in the early part of Scorpio, in a similar latitude, than with a person born at the beginning of Libra.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I really like the five-seed almond bars. They're very pumpkin-y.

Those might be the ones I'm talking about, P-C. I don't buy them often because I find I eat less of something if they eat most of it first. So when they don't like something? I tend to finish the box.

Jilli, if snack bars are your thing (though possibly not as they are not muffiny or sconey) then I'd recommend making your own at Element Bar. We made a Noah Bar for Noah that is oaty, maple, chocolate chip, blueberry, with flax seed. SO yum. Pricey though but a fun indulgence.

P-C, I kinda love them. But, pricey.

The Girl Who Played with Fire is basically "the girl who dreamed of gasoline and a match." Which makes me wonder what the Swedish actually is, because I think the English titles of the final two are so great at conveying multiple meanings.

Totally agree. I love this as the title rather than the originals.

Also, it cracked me up when she got her fancy apartment and furnished it all with Ikea. But I'm easily amused.

I was headed to yoga but realized I forgot my library book on my desk (which I'm almost done with) so instead of going to yoga, I went back to work to get the book. I have priorities.... yoga can happen whenever, but I only have my book for three weeks and I MUST FINISH so I can read the other ones. But I'll also, this book is compelling and I've only had it for 3 days and last night I was up WAY TOO LATE reading.
