Barb, you're in Seattle. Every season is interesting. Oh, and tell The Diva she looked fab.
I am maybe 10 minutes from your building. 2 blocks east to N. Capital, then a straight shot to Mass Ave.
I'm hosting coworkers from Detroit, so there will be a business dinner that night, but these aren't the ones that will party into the wee hours. If you're good with it, then I guess we're having a slumber party!
What the hell, I just learned that
forgo
is a word. I've been using
forego
all this time, which is only a variant.
Barb, we needed AC exactly four days last summer. Of course we didn't have it (still don't) and they were very long days. But still--just four days. And we're what--an hour north of you?
No kidding!
He kinda made me think of Peter Jackson. There's a sudden aging effect.
Yah, barb, I now have two Seattle summers sans AC and while i was v glad to be gone the few days I was last year when it was hitting record ever highs, normally it's not needed. Because its normally not that hot, and certainly not that humid. I wouldn't have dreamed of living in DC without AC but in Seattle a fan is usually all you need. I recommendbone of those in/out window ones for your bedroom at night.
If you're good with it, then I guess we're having a slumber party!
woo! And if you need someone to help you party into the wee hours, you know who to call.
to see the Hubble 3D IMAX movie.
We saw it this weekend. Made me want to be an astronaut.
Hah!
South Park
takes on Facebook, ChatRoulette, and
Mad Money.
Too funny.
I just watched last week's Flash Forward. Anyone else still watching? That scene toward the end between
Demetri & Janis
made me go looking for fan fic. A simple search and I had exactly what I was looking for. Ah, fandom.
