I just watched last week's Flash Forward. Anyone else still watching? That scene toward the end between Demetri & Janis made me go looking for fan fic. A simple search and I had exactly what I was looking for. Ah, fandom.

Yeah, that was so sweet on so many levels, aurelia. I was yelling "Yes!" at the screen since I'd actually called it during the first part of the season, even after the reveal that she was gay. I somehow knew the kid was going to wind up Demetri's, although I certainly didn't figure it would be by the more conventional methods.

Hah. I watched, and laughed at the right parts, and am intrigued to go read the fic, because I liked the scene, but also when trying to think of it went "but...." a few too many times. Cause...yes, but....no.

Heh. I thought his response of "I'll make you gayer" was wonderful and made me fall even more in love with the character. I will keep watching the show as long as they don't ruin or kill Demetri. And that fic is precisely what I'd have asked for.

OK, and I loved the fic, and ADORED his response...but as someone who's gay, and not really into guys (which is how they seem to have portrayed her character)...when you get into the actual SEX part??? It just....how much were they drinking?? Cause the awkward and the "wow, I'm so not into this even though you're my friend and I like you there's a reason I'm gay"...yeahhhhh...

I wondered the same, meara, because they really have played her as being very, very gay. I remember that conversation with Bryce when she was first finding out about insemination options. Didn't she refer to herself as "super gay?" Still, though, it was a sweet fic. I loved Demetri's final line.
