I just think it's rather odd that a nation that prides itself on its virility should feel compelled to strap on forty pounds of protective gear just in order to play rugby.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I, like Cass, am only dabbling at it right now.

I only just ate the last string cheese from the last time you and Pete were here last night. That's some kind of record!

Okay, it was hiding. Or I'd have eaten it much sooner.

I am still not allowed to buy string cheese except on special occasions and preferably when I will have adult supervision.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I'm ready for this week to be over.

Monday I had a migraine and slept most of the day. Ok, the evening of bridal shopping kinda redeemed the day, but only kinda.

Today I had pre-thyriod medicine exhaustion and felt ill to my stomach, came home midday and slept until 5pm. Then I had the crown pop out. To make up for missing a day and a half of work, I have been pounding on the laptop since I woke up at 5pm. Brain is kaput now.

Tomorrow will be finding a dentist and hopefully getting this fixed easily. And continuing to get caught back up on work, including an early morning conference call.

I'm ready to just sit here and cry.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Gaaaah. I LIKE this album. Why is it so damn difficult to write a review for it?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Gaaaah. I LIKE this album. Why is it so damn difficult to write a review for it?

To write you need a point of view, so it's not enough to just like it. You have to find an angle on it. You can dig into what you like, or you can dig into what they did or tried to do.

Just keep turning it around in your head like a faceted gem until you find the gleam that allows you to say something interesting.

So I tried to go to bed an hour ago, but ended up fighting with a fan. 4 bandaids and a working fan later... fuuuck. Hurts. Just as I got the blades going, hand slipped and two fingers got whacked bad. Where there isn't blood, there is bruising, Wahwahwantmamma.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I have been on a pretty strict diet for the teevee thang and have lost about 14lbs. They start filming on Thursday, and I don't know what I am more excited about, having a new yard or being able to eat french fries.
