Handsome brooding vampire guy has to swoop in all sensitive mouth and overhanging forehead. How 'bout leaving some scraps for the homely-looking fellows who don't turn evil when they get some?

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

This was the L&O Catholic school episode: [link] The episode made a much bigger deal of the school being a Catholic school than the summary does -- the mothers had sued the school earlier when they kicked out the daughter when the school found out she had two mothers, and the courts sided with the parents and said the school had to allow her to attend. There was a scene where the principal (or somebody) was saying that it put the school in an awkward position wrt trying to teach Catholic teachings, that they couldn't just say, "Homosexuality is wrong -- but that's OK, Emma, your moms are good people."

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

K asked me if I thought being mixed race would be a big thing for Noah and I pointed out there are so many other larger identity shapers that it's likely being mixed race will be lower on the list (twin brother, twin brother of special needs sister, lesbian moms, etc.)

I once knew a deaf, Korean, adopted, left-handed, Jew. His parents and I thought he might be the smallest minority in the world.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

smonster, I have the same issue. In fact, yogurt doesn't have enough protein for me if there is also fruit. I often put in peanut butter, nuts, or have eggs as well.

I'm watching Roll Bounce. My willingness to watch any skating movie, no matter how silly, seems to extend to roller skating movies.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I LOVE Roll Bounce.

I'm kind of impressed at how their routine still worked when they changed the music at the last minute. Especially the parts of the routine where they sing along with the song.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I really meant to do stuff today, but first I accidentally napped and now Dita is using me as her pillow and purring, so I don't want to move.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Roll Bounce is legitimately awesome. Great music! Chi McBride! Nifty disco skating!

Figure skaters should do that!
