(Barely big enough for a cutting board, and that is all. Literally.)
My kitchen has not much more. Enough actual counter space for the dish rack and a cutting board. I am dreaming of a new kitchen with: a kichen fan, counter space, and, the holy grail...a dishwasher.
We have a counter. One. That also has a sink. Actual counter space? about a foot on each side of the sink. WTF, 1920's homebuilders!?!
Oh. It does have a built in cutting board and trash can though. So there's that...
Yeah, INSANE!
WTF, 1920's homebuilders!?!
That's how old this house is, too! Do you have any closets?
Anyway, I offer unto you this tiny bit of life enhancement: tater tots.
We had those for dinner last night! Ore-Ida makes a smaller, round version called Crispy Crowns which are, as their name suggests, crispier. We all love 'em.
I shall send you all jealous making pictures of my new kitchen. Mwahahaha.
Also still at the cheese. None of the other parents are drinking. I do not want to be trashy mom. I don't actually know any of these parents.
Our home is counter-deprived too. Plus the counters are tiled and therefore useless as far as cooking surfaces go. Lame. We have yet to remodel the kitchen, but we did put in a large butcher block counter to make the intervening years easier.
msbelle, you're moving! Eff 'em.
Crispy Crowns are excellent!
Also, a brand called Food Should Taste Good makes a multigrain tortilla chip that is delicious beyond words. I found them in Wegman's organic section.
I would so go ahead and order that beer msbelle. If there are any dads there, they will be grateful. Also joining you.
With our group of friends, even daytime parties include beer for the parents. IJS.
I want tater tots. I have cabbage soup.
They do have beer at Chuck E. Cheese, as my friend M. was complaining about a mom who was tipsy but worse, kept calling the place Chunk N Cheese.
