Yeah, that's a pretty good place.
There's supposedly a good dim sum place just down the street from me... I can't believe I still haven't been. At least I tried the lebanese laffa place for lunch today.
Oh, what great pictures of what looks like a really fun party, Kat. I've been reading to catch up so I can wish Noah and Grace a very Happy Third Birthday, and lots of exciting adventures and discoveries ahead. They're beautiful and miraculous, and so are you.
More Birthday Felicitations to K-Bug and Son-of-Theresa! Adventures and Discoveries wished to them, too.
Javachick, I have a line on a good dim sum place in the East Bay. Actually a couple of places; the cheaper one is in Alameda, just on the other side of the Webster Tube.
My first concert? Styx, Paradise Theater tour. I think it was about 1980 or so. Tommy Shaw fell off the riser backwards and landed on his ass.
My best concert? Oooh, that's a tossup. Springsteen in Chicago in 1984 ("Born in the USA" tour); Indigo Girls in Boston in 1989; or The Waterboys in Boston in 1988 or so. I saw a TON of music those first few years out of college.
I've seen the Indigos more than 30 times. Obviously, I think they're awesome. Second to them in number of times is Shawn Colvin (about 20) and then Patty Griffin. Guess I do love the singer-songwriter chicas.

I remember you saying something about Webster St before. Let's go!
First concert - I kid you not - Black Oak Arkansas.
According to Yelp the best dim sum in SF is at this tiny Chinatown takeout Good Mong Kok.

I heard a great story by Jim Dickinson (famous Memphis musician and producer) about doing Black Oak's first album and the peril's of dentistry.
One of the best shows I ever saw was Steve Winwood at the smaller venue at Rutgers University, maybe 7,000 people. He opened the show with a grand piano and did "Low Spark," and it was just awesome.
My first Bruce concert (Born in the USA tour) was also really memorable.
I must say the Pork and Cabbage Bun, and Shrimp Dumpling with Chives looks gooooood.
Mmmm, Shrimp and chives.
