It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

B52s and U2 with Public Enemy & Sugarcubes, in the same week.

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

Either what's left of the Beach boys or Ringo and the All-Starr band Ringo and Billy Preston and them were better, of course. Can't be the Beach Boys without Brian.

Knockin' the Boots is a great, great song.

I only got into 112 because this guy I used to date was really into them and he used to play them all the time. They're definitely a second tier band for me.

I was trying to think about whether I could include Levert in this hypothetical 80s and 90s black boy band playlist, but I think they would get knocked out under the Bee Gees rule. But what about Guy? Tony!Toni!Tone!, are they a boy band? Hmmm.

One of the best concerts I ever went to was Motley Crue in Madison Square Garden not too many years ago, maybe 2005? 2006? Anyway, that concert kicked ass.

ETA: A cereal post in Natter? Oh my stars and garters! It has been years since I had one of those.

I'm getting the pig!

Best concert I've been to would have to be Counting Crows at Red Rocks Amphitheatre a few years ago. Every song was just a little bit different from the recorded version and made the experience amazing. Great band live.

I grew up seeing folk singers such as Joan Baez (some day ask me about my dad and Joan) but somehow those concerts don't "count" in my head. Shaun Cassidy was not my parent's choice, though my dad took me. My first my-friends-no-adults concert was Iron Maiden.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OK, I have to go to bed before I start pulling out mix tapes....

It's precisely 3 years ago that Grace was born (and Noah a few minutes after). It's hard to believe this is where they are now: [link]

Because books.

Oh, Kat, I kept meaning to say happy birthday to the twins! Whoo three!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

The Police was my first concert.

Me too. I still remember that Sting wore a kimono for a shirt. And later on he was kind enough to take it off.
