She also wants to wear her watermelon hat with the scooter helmet over it.
Compromise and just stick half a watermelon on her head.

I got my ears pierced when I was 20 - I was in college and a local store had all kinds of nifty pierced-only earrings that I lusted after. I wanted to have it done by a doctor, but at the time I needed a parent's permission until I turned 21. My father didn't care, but my mother was adamantly opposed to pierced ears - one of our neighbors had their infant daughter's ears pierced and my mother insisted it was a superstition that it would either prevent eye infections or keep off the evil eye and was, therefore, backward and primitive and she wasn't having any of it.
So I told her if she didn't let me have the doctor do it, I'd have Louise (at college) do it with a darning needle and an ice cube.
Yeah, I got to the doctor. She even bought me some earrings.
That is sooo cute (although a half mile walk to a bus) I get so suspicious when I don't see the inside- There is such a preponderance of "oak" country kitchens in Rochester as a cheap remodel, and I hates them.
I got my ears pierced when I was about eight. Then they got infected when I was about twelve, and I didn't wear earrings for several years and the holes closed up. I got them repierced when I was in college.
I don't think that is a melon.
My mom's aren't pierced. It's a bitch to find earrings for her.
My piercings closed up. It's a bitch when my mother-in-law buys me expensive post earrings! (Oh, that's not really a bitch? OK then.)
Does anyone have good ideas for things to do in a law firm library for Bring your child to work day, with 8 to 13 year olds?
Shepardizing? Or, how about getting out the TV and VCR and watching some CLEs?
God, I love Ta-Nehisi:
I hear GOP folks and Tea Partiers bemoaning the fact that media and Democrats are using the extremes of their movement for ratings and to score points. This is like Drew Brees complaining that Dwight Freeney keeps trying to sack him. >[link]
