God, I love Ta-Nehisi:

I hear GOP folks and Tea Partiers bemoaning the fact that media and Democrats are using the extremes of their movement for ratings and to score points. This is like Drew Brees complaining that Dwight Freeney keeps trying to sack him. >[link]

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I did a show last year with college students where 3 of the 7 girls did not have pierced ears. It was really strange (and a pain!)

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

My dad forbid ear piercing. So my maternal grandmother took me and had it done at the doctor when I was in first grade. Mom oversaw taking care of them. I barely remember it.

The last time I kept the piercing studs and now whenever the ears close up between wearing something I just shove those through.

This is me. When you have them pierced for so long, at some point they are going to close. I just suck it up and push it through. The little indentation stays so you have a guide. It's been years since I had to do that though.

That is brilliant.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Sophia - when you do get serious, your best bet is going to be to contact a realtor first off, because very few listings at that price range are going to have kitchen pictures and if vintage kitchen is a requirement a realtor will sort out that for you and only show you ones that you'd like. ALso, they should come pick you up and drive you around, so saving you travel headaches.

Now tagless for your comfort.

JZ, I'm sorry! You must have received our share of the dressing angst this morning. I knew something was up when Liv didn't veto the first outfit we tried.

I just got around to sweeping up the crumbs from breakfast.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I have the teeth falling out dream occasionally. Freaks me the hell out when I wake up. I always have to check to make sure it isn't true! I think it's from grinding my teeth.

I also have the flying dreams but they are often more like floating-just-above-the-ground dreams. I even had one where I was bobbing off the ceiling like a trapped helium balloon.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Personally, I think flying dreams where you rise and fall, or float are related to breathing patterns.

I suspect this because I remember somebody creating a Virtual Reality environment where flying was based on breathing, so that you ascended when you inhaled and descended as you exhaled and it was a very persuasive experience to those who did it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I used to have quite proper flying dreams all the time--flying around the house just about the height of the doorways, and soaring around the outdoors.

These days every single dream I remember is related to work (usually SQL) or TV (often SPN or CM).
