So even though movie night was cancelled, work-cancelled had a DAY, so she climbed over the railing with a bottle of wine and we talked for the past hour and she had some feline therapy. So it was good. And she'll be coming with the farmers' market crew Saturday, so I can introduce them all.

So fun. So funny I'm the neighborhood connector.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I had no idea you could get Kraft powdered orange cheese outside of a macaroni box.

I now fear for humanity.

You only need fear when I run out of it.

And the texture of the canned stuff is somewhat...grainier? coarser? than the packet that comes in the box of mac & cheese. The stuff in the box is very finely powdered, and the canned stuff is less so.

I feel the need to point out that I love real cheese, too. A nice Emmental is the bees knees.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Is that a good thing or a bad thing?

Trust my rage

Speaking of Kraft, I made (I think) Fiona's mac an cheese for dinner tonight. It is very yummy. Both kids looked at it and left the table without a bite. Feeding kids is such an exercise in frustration.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

::does snooty nose-in-the-air thing about cheese cans, green and orange::

Reggiano + Microplane = superdelicious.

Though I have to say I'm not totally against faux cheese, as I do like that frozen broccoli/cheese dealie in a bag and that's definitely a foodie crime.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I'm not a mac & cheese fan so the powdered orange cheese just gets an "ew" from me. I try to avoid "cheese food products". I suspect I might like many of the fancy cheeses but I haven't had much opportunity to sample. I lead a middle of the road life as it pertains to cheese.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I lead a middle of the road life as it pertains to cheese.

Do you wear the cheese, or does the cheese wear you?
