Chicago Bob is an actual Bob! from Chicago! Best friend here and we are talkingabout Drag Race! Evidently I need to start taping the after show!
Natter 65: Speed Limit Enforced by Aircraft
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, pandas, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Does Bob like carrots, lisah? That is the question. Again, much ~ma for the both of you.
Also, you all have gotten me addicted to looking at houses. The payments are so affordable in Rochester, but I can't imagine saving up $20,000 for a down payment when I only make $35,000 a year. This house is funny because I have these pictures in my kitchen! [link]
Sophia, do you have to pay 20%? I know eligibility has tightened, but maybe you could qualify with 10% down.
I have a small cold the last couple of days. Just enough congestion to be annoying, not enough for me to stay home. Anyway, I've had three nosebleeds in the last two days. The last one started spontaneously when I was in my co-workers cubicle. There was lots of blood...it was very gross!
Sophia, you should see if there are 1st time homebuiyer programs that you qualify for. Or homebuyer programs throught the university that offer assistance.
So, actually, the University does have a homebuying program where they will give you $9,000 if you buy a home around the University.
Here is a map of where people have bought houses: [link]
The area where no one has purchased-- that is a black neighborhood. I can't believe no one house has been purchased there. the funny thing is I am pretty sure that is the area the U wants people to buy in, because it is viewed as unsafe.
You are at the Medical Center, yes? WOuld the area around there be of interest/affordable?
Are home prices that low across Rochester as a whole, Sophia?
I am sure he wasn't! I haven't seen him in a couple of years. But that would be funny.
He was talking about how discovering theater saved his life.
Sophia, I like the Cape Cod house you linked to. Wood floors! And it would probably go for around $200,000 here in the NC Triangle.

Massive amounts of bobma!
DH is having Franny read In the Night Kitchen to Isaac.
According to family lore, that was the first book I read by myself! I have a framed poster of it that I need to hang.
Should I alert you guys next time Zoya tweets one of their killer deals?
HELL YES.
My nails are such a wreck now. I really need a (better) formaldehyde free base coat. Between Nail Envy and a week volunteering in New Orleans, they'd make Plei weep copious tears.
...I really ought to do a housewarming. Especially since I have all these new friends. But I've never thrown a party, so...
Go party! Choose party! Not that I can come, but it just seems right.
Damn, now I want to go to Santa Fe.
