My nails are such a wreck now. I really need a (better) formaldehyde free base coat. Between Nail Envy and a week volunteering in New Orleans, they'd make Plei weep copious tears.

msbelle- the area around the medical center is nice, but is more expensive, I think.
Amy- the housing prices in Rochester are generally low in the city and higher in the suburbs (but no where near other places prices) The city schools have a reputation for being very bad (although there are really good pockets), so it is harder to find a house in the city with kids.
ETA- the medical center and the university campus are right next to each other- so there is not too much difference.

This is the most expensive house (single family) in the city search. It doesn't look like much, but it is in a really really nice area. This is a nicer house, but kinda in the hood

If anyone missed last night's Rachel Maddow Show, I highly recommend watching this clip, in which Rachel is The Interview because of Scott Brown (R-MA) using her name in his fundraising efforts. It's hilarious!
Pay attention to the various chyrons--I didn't notice them until midway through, when I saw "Maddow owns large dog
and claims to be 'gay'," and had to go back and read them all.
