Behind-the-counter 12-hour Sudafed. That's the only thing (taken with 4 ibuprofen) that ever gets rid of Vic the Ninja Sinus Demon. Fucker.
I believe I shall try this too--behind the counter Claritin D and ibuprofen used to cut it but hasn't been lately.
The Sudafed has interfered with your sleep before, hasn't it?
Great. I'm sick. I'm at work anyway because I'm so swamped and I leave tomorrow at 6:30AM on a business trip for a week. I called my manager to beg off of the hour-and-a-half staff meeting this afternoon, and she is Not Happy. I could hear the capital letters over the phone.
The Sudafed has interfered with your sleep before, hasn't it?
Mine? No. It might, but not so far.
Because it's better to have one person miss a staff meeting today than a bunch miss the in next few days.
I do not understand some managers.
Well, you know, sickness is weakness of character. As is taking a lunch break.
Behind-the-counter 12-hour Sudafed
Ahhh, blue Sudafed. That usually works for me. This last time, it did not and I wanted to sob. Advil Cold & Sinus did do the trick, however.
Aaaand I left my Sudafed at home. Great.
My manager is not an unreasonable person, and I'm sure lots of people try to get out of staff meetings with stupid excuses. Today is just a bad day for me.

At least 1/3 of the problem with fringe-y right-wing wackjobs is that they ahve so much access to the media.
