Happy birthday, Kathy!
Oh and happy birthday to Raq too!
I'm sorry to hear so many folks are having A Day. I'm just busy, but at least so far things are moving pretty smoothly. We'll see how Franny's second trimester teacher conference goes. Oh yeah, and grading. We'll see how grading goes.
Every state that I have ever lived in is suing to stop the healthcare bill.
I await the inevitable Republican outcry against activist judges. Any second now.
Aw dang, I scanned the list and didn't see Louisiana on there. That was in this morning's paper though.
In just over six hours, I'll be home and can go to sleep.
I cannot wait.
Lots of coffee in the meantime.
Gronk.
I hope your year is better than your day, Kathy!
Yeah, Nora, if you're going to move, you will have to get used to the politics. The rest of the state is deeply red, and New Orleans is kind of...insane. Though with the new mayor, there's some hope.

Heh, yeah- I am steeling myself for it. I figure it will keep things interesting. I have already heard some stories about New Orleans government/management that makes me a little afraid about opening a business there. But not scared enough to not try!
Happy Birthday, Kathy!
Happy Birthday, Raq!
And yesterday was Pete's birthday! I was too busy to say anything here, argh.
