Jayne: We was just about to spring into action, Captain. Complicated escape and rescue op. Wash: I was going to watch. It was very exciting.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Didn't Gud just post that this morning? Y'all are skimmers.

He did. I didn't click then, but I figured this was the same thing. I thought "first-person Tetris" meant you played from the perspective of the falling blocks, though.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Many happy returns, msbelle !

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Sorry, I am a skipper and a skimmer.

Nobody posted my news about Deuce before me, did they? Did anyone but three of us care?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Hmm. The University of the West Indies is soliciting material donations--"non-perishable food items, first-aid supplies, linen, toiletries etc." At least they have a plan. They're also soliciting people--"experts in several fields - engineering, public health, social work and psychology - are being assembled for deployment." So they can handle their stuff.

Last news report I saw was about gang violence. With no rescue infrastructure in place survivors were turning to looting for sustenance. Lots of waving machetes. Grim.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I will say, I clicked and was nauseated by it earlier, but didn't post to that effect.

I was considering making banana bread, but I waited too long and the bananas are bad (should have put them in the freezer). Oh well.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Nobody posted my news about Deuce before me, did they? Did anyone but three of us care?

No, and no.

I don't think you can even call it looting at this point.

At this point, I don't dare look. I heard the sound bite yesterday and bolted. I haven't made a periodic trek to bbc.co.uk yet today.
