Very convincing. Makes me completely want to put myself under government control. Please take me to where you can make me unconscious and naked.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I did some cleaning and watched Justified, which was awesome.

I also just spent an enormous amount of money on a new door. Perils of a 19th century building - everything has to be custom. But I'm super excited about it.

Because books.

I loved Justified, too, brenda. Olyphant is really good.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Is it here Nora was talking about moving to NO? If so, Nora, feel free to ping my cousins. Kara basically did just what you're thinking about, though we have family and friends there. I'm sure it would take you no time and Kara would be happy to invite you to stuff and make intros. smonster can attest to their awesomeness.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Lesson learned from "Who Is Clark Rockefeller?": People are easily duped, and much less likely to google than I would have thought.

Finally hung the cling film in the basement windows. Now thinking about doing the back basement windows too. It looks really nice.

hip deep in pie

I closed on my house three years ago today. I am finally finishing painting the trim in my bedroom.

sarameg - Mar 21, 2010 2:47:44 pm PDT #17723 of 30001

Congratulations!

(I'm approaching one year and I still have packed stuff in the basement, boxes in the spare bedroom and very little on the walls. I don't expect the trim will get done in 3 years.)

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Random question: If you were a three-headed dog, would every physical sensation you had be felt by all three heads? Like, if someone stepped on your tail, all three heads would feel it, right? (Except perhaps sensations from each head itself - if one head is eating, I wouldn't think the other heads would taste it. Or would they?)

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Is it here Nora was talking about moving to NO? If so, Nora, feel free to ping my cousins.

It was here that I was musing about NO. Daisy, thanks so much for the offer, and I will definitely get in touch when/if we get moving on this prospect! Because smonster has indeed already testified about the awesomeness of K & K.

Tom actually applied for a job down there today!
