"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

The only downside I can see is that, according to the NYT article I just read, it can take up to 90 days for the organizations to actually receive the funds. So giving via web is faster.

Don't know if anyone's posted this yet, but The Big Give is matching donations for Haiti (up to £500 per each person's donation) until they run out funds to do so. You probably have to be in Europe to give via the site, although I'm not sure. The site is great, anyway, and it's a fantastic commitment on the part of its funders.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

It's Friday!

What are people doing for msbelle's birthday?

And the weekend?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

happy birthday, msbelle.

I would like to loose some weight because it make my diabetes more managable, and asthma too . some where in the 30 to 50 lbs range. But even 10 to 15 would make me more comfortable.

Currently a 16 , never been below a 10 as an adult. 12 would be good- mostly because there is room to go up a size if things are cut small. 16 is a stupid size, you never know if you will find it anywhere.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Happy Birthday, msbelle!!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Among the many reasons I'm looking forward to having a newborn again is that while I was breastfeeing, I could eat whatever I wanted and I lost a TON of weight. It was insane and totally unexpected. (Which means it probably won't happen again, in which case I'll actually have to start exercising or something because I can't afford to replace all my pants.)

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

My comic book store is matching donations. I should wander by there today.

I'm a 12/14 right now. I'd like to be a 10, but more than my size is the way I feel, and right now I don't feel so good. I really need to find another physical activity that I enjoy since I'm not dancing any more.

I remember some sitcom where a woman was breastfeeding her 4 year old because it kept her weight down.
