“Not dead yet!”

Damned nail polish crack monkeys and all your talk of polishes and links.

Just bought this so I can have pretty toenails for the wedding I'm going to in April. Also want to try to find a polish that won't kill my fragile nails.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

This is what I'm playing with right now: [link]

AM radio, baby! I have a yellow ring one. But I really wanted one of the sphere radios.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I love green, even green nail polish, which, while not a neutral for me, still is a fave.

I have on a green shirt and a pair of shorts (AIFG) and Noah is wearing his "Asian Irish" t-shirt.

Noah's pinkeye is clearing up a bit.

Grace's appointment was good. They named what she has as cerebral palsy, which makes sense now that I think about what cerebral palsy, but she doesn't have the more common hypertonic/spastic form. Rather she has ataxic hemiplegic.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I'm watching Lean On Me. This movie really oversimplifies too many of the issues that were going on in Paterson.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Thanks for the good work wishes, guys. We're a new company, with the sale, and a new sub-department, so things are very up in the air.

So the appointment went better than you worried, Kat? Good.

It is very much shorts weather here. Except our offices are just as cold as always. So I can't really dress to celebrate.

This morning it was cold (around 30) - I lost my gloves but rode my bike to work anyway, so my fingers were a little numb when I got there. But the temp got up to the 60s, so I bundled up my coat and put it on the rack for the ride home.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I'm glad the appointment went well, Kat.

What's your nail fragility? Jilli's having good luck taking biotin supplements for her nails. I can't speak to it, as I think it would make me break out, but biotin and glass files (which I can speak to, and which are awesome) are the advice I see on the nail board all the time.
