I go online sometimes, but everyone's spelling is really bad. It's... depressing.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I have inherited a ferrel cat, due to a dubious neighbor who asked if I would feed him while he's out of town. I said sure, but I'm out of town on vacation next week. Come to find out, he's actually moved. He left me a bag of cat food in the carport along with his water dish.

Now, I have to feed and water the ferrel cat every day. But I'm on vacation next week. So the ferrel cat is going to starve/dehydrate and DIE.

Fuck my neighbor.

Aimee, I don't think teachers pay into SDI. (Like in California, we don't pay into or qualify for SS benefits either). I'll get my full pay for as much sick time as I have left, then it bumps over into how every many half-time pay days I have. I think I have 550+ hours of half time leave.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Ah. The website said that some pub school teachers do. It was the only thing that helped Joe and I when I was out having Emeline. Irritates something awful that Michigan doesn't have one similar.

Allyson, BIG bowls of food and water. And rest assured, the cat, as long as it is fairly feral and roaming, will be able find other sources should yours run out. And fuck your irresponsible neighbor.

Nope. Teachers also don't get unemployment benefits if we lose our jobs.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Teachers also don't get unemployment benefits if we lose our jobs.

Wait, what? The fuck?

msbelle, Hyundai Elantra Touring. Four-door hatchback, small, astonishing amount of cargo room, feels great to drive, good gas mileage, looks good, excellent safety rating, turn-off-able passenger side air bags, interior very well designed, and it's under $20k.And they come in red. I adore mine and named her Jewel. Aaaaaand now I'm going to bill Hyundai for ad time and go work for Leverage.

Now tagless for your comfort.

But they get three months off every summer, have cushy benefits and hardly do any work at all.

Can you tell we're in the middle of a bitter school referedum battle on the ballot in two weeks?

In all seriousness, Kat, that is fucked up.

Also, Allyson's neighbor sucks.

KCD was trying to feed me this line recently. I was so gobsmacked, I couldn't respond. There is a reason we didn't discuss politics much when we were together. I'm still gobsmacked.
