I look more rad than Lutheranism

Tangentially related to clothing sizes, Monday was my first time back to the gym after over 3 1/2 weeks of being really sick (with a respiratory infection, there was no way I could work out). And yesterday was my second time back.

My hips are sore, and my shoulders are none too happy at me, either.

I don't know how to tell them we're going back tomorrow.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

And that's what you'll tell the cops! "But I only stabbed her a little. Is that even a crime!?! "

No, I'm going to tell them I was with Dana! We have been over this...

In unrelated news, a librarian at Valdosta State is matching donations up to $10,000 to Partners in Health.

That's awesome. Someone I'm facebook friends with was promoting some thing where they are collecting supplies and stuff, and I had to say I thought it was a terrible idea. You know why? Because people will give away crap and think they are helping. Effing people. Just send money! Let the agencies buy what they need, when they need it!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I hate to be missing the gym this week, because I will be traveling next week. But I don't think the gym would appreciate it if I wheezed and passed out on their floor.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, right, exercise. I haven't done that today.

It's funny, I don't feel very different as a size 22 than I did as a 12, or an 18. Sometimes I am startled by how different I look in the mirror or in pictures, and sometimes that doesn't seem very different either.

OK, WiiFit here I come. in my new jeans with the hems rolled up.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

oh right, exercise. I haven't done that in almost a year.

it's on the list for things to try to add back into my life post-move. I am not optimistic though.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

they are collecting supplies and stuff

How are they planning to get it there?

Mostly I'm going to take the word of people fronting charities that say send money not stuff. It's just so much simpler. Like you say--what do we know?

Yeah, I don't know. And then what? I mean, seriously. I have been on the receiving end of many a crappy in-kind donation.

Our wings are not tired.

Yep, money is what they need all right.

Alright?

(No wonder peeps just say "aight" and be done with it!)

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Oh, word, Jesse.

We used to get donations of smelly, dirty torn clothing, out of date MEAT, toasters that didn't work, all kinds of stuff.

I mean, it's lovely that people want to help, but there's a hella diff between second-hand and "shit you should throw out but are trying to get a tax break on your trash."
