There's a show on Discovery called "Who Framed Jesus?" Blurb: "The new suspects emerge in the death of Jesus." Discovery Channel programs just keep getting weirder.
I hope they've come up with a time-travelling Dick Cheney.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, pandas, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Skyped with the camera on my new laptop with my sister today for the first time in months. That was nice. Never managed to get my parents fully on the Skype train. I prefer it to the phone. I'm all ready to video conference. But my mother called her during the vid call, so we talked then.
Watched Cadillac Records as part of my prep for The Losers. I'm psyched.
I just found this recipe for vodka gimlet straight up:
"Pour six ounces of vodka from a 750 ml bottle; replace with six ounces Rose's Sweetened Lime Juice (available from nearly any grocery), add a small amount of water for ice crystals, shake twice and store in the freezer overnight. Pour into a martini glass and serve straight up. The glass will immediately frost over. With this recipe, no cocktail shaker is required and the cocktail is not watered down by melting ice.
Even though it has the downside of being a Rose's gimlet (hush, bon), it has the upside of being an entire bottle of gimlet in your freezer.
Go you on the size 4, brenda.

The Illuminati! The Masons! Godless humanists! Black helicopters!
Enh. It's okay. He's in bed an hour later and it will take a us a while to move him back to his usual 7:00 bedtime. Unfortunately, he was still up at 5:00 AM.
I am heading to bed myself as I too don't quite understand DST.
Aw, bulldog!
David, it so hard to process. Like, I'm starting to understand body dismorphia. But I feel awesome.
Anyway though, I feel like I've basically settled into a general weight and size that my (healthy) body is comfortable with. I've been in about the same 5-8 pound range for about six months now and while I eat very differently than I used to, I in no way feel like I'm dieting or restricted.
The only religious history shows I like watching in tv are PBS ones. The History Channel and Discovery shows tend to stick just with the Bible for source material, annoyingly enough. My favorite PBS shows were the Frontline four-hour doc on early Christianity called "From Jesus to Christ," which tends to get rerun at Christmas and Easter, and the Nova two-hour doc on early Jewish history (through the Babylonian captivity and the writing of the Torah) called "The Bible's Buried Secrets."
I almost bought Rose's at Target today. I did buy Angustura, which I understand there's a shortage of?
We used to take freezer gimlets in bottled water bottles to Expos games.

Um, what?
Also, that seems more apt for Court TV.
while I eat very differently than I used to
How so? How did you eat before, and how do you eat now?
...if you don't mind me asking.
It seems so wrong to have DST begin before the start of Spring - days are still shorter than nights! It's crazy!
It's also possible I'm old and stuck in my ways.
ION, I have a new desk set up at home. Today I bought an office chair and some shelves. So currently I have my MacBook Pro set up with an external monitor and very pretty USB Mac keyboard.

Oooh, I love you, yet I hate you, ita!
Want. Gimlet. With fresh lime juice and a touch of simple syrup. Am salivating from thought.
