Her over-protective older brother who beats up guys who make sexual comments about her seems to have disappeared. But she is still "gutsy" and "ballsy," at least once the drunken speed skater reminds her that she's supposed to be. And, of course, she can hold her own in a bar fight.

And the coach this time is a bald Chinese man who keeps saying things like, "Jade must be chiseled before it can be a gem." And gongs play whenever he enters.

There were gongs, or at least some stereotypical Chinese-type music, at least once. Not quite every time.

Also, on his first entrance, this Chinese coach, who has supposedly coached a ton of European champions, bowed to the skaters.

Oh! And there are "funny" translations! When the female skater says, "That was a cakewalk," and the male skater responds, "You'll be crying uncle soon," the translator translates it for the coach as something like, "She says she is walking with a cake, and he says she will be crying out for ancestral intervention."

Do libraries still have tax forms? I don't remember seeing any when I was there last.
