I have the most boring nail polish collection. I'm trying to find the right scarlet, and the right arterial red. And a good dark brown (I'm flummoxed here) and a nice light brown (also not doing well). And a matte black (doing well, but what of top coat? I feel naked).
I think I will do my nails this weekend. They're finally all about long enough. Not warm enough for a pedicure yet, though.
...still up. Suitcase barely closed, and then I remembered that my work boots aren't in there yet. Half the space is taken up by my hand tools. Hrmph. Now watching Project Runway, clearly a priority.
I'm wearing Juno on my fingers, which is an awesome easter egg purple. My toes are still green from the Pasadena manicure-- the color is still holding pretty well, and I am lazy.
BTW? Watched that Lady Gaga/Beyonce video and now I can't get it out of my head.
Did you watch them on your video phone?
If I were to paint my nails anything other than what I consider neutrals: strong reds, browns, or black, I'd feel too constricted in clothing choices.
At the funeral in NO an "aunt" complimented my lipstick matching my coat. She thought it was fashion sense. No, it was a lack of imagination. My car is the same colour.
Green? Never! Purple? For a day, maybe.
I'm afraid to figure where I can find Zoya - those polishes sound fun!
I order them online, when Zoya is having a sale. Some salons and such have some of the colors.
ita, go look on nailgal.com
Cool, PMM. Is this a good brand? Or this? OPI is good, right?
Oh my goodness, this insomnia where I fall asleep OK, but am awake from 1 am - 6 am needs to stop now! Especially since I really need to get up at 6 am!
I love green nails but it does constrict clothing choices a bit, at least as finger nails.
I have blue right now (OPIs newest blue) and I fear it will be the same. I guess I don't feel that way with silver, pink, red, etc.
I want to figure out who near me carries Nubar, because I want this set: [link] and for ita (though it might be too many shades on a theme) [link]
Liese, the box of polishes is still in transit somewhere.

I was having this conversation with my mother and grandmother just last weekend -- my mother swung by a friend's house to borrow nail polish remover one time when she forgot about a big meeting and her nails clashed with her clothes. Heh.
