If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Great news, Connie!

Does kitty have a name, brenda?

Gracie. She was my sister's cat, then she had to be left behind with my dad when my sister moved somewhere with a psycho cat that couldn't tolerate another, and now she's been passed off to me. I think his allergies are getting to him or something.

Does he ever redo homes from that Ty Pennington show? I've heard they're super crappy.

He works in the Greater Toronto Area, mostly. Though he did one show in California, after Ellen Degeneres got in touch with them about a family that was fleeced.

He's doing a new show on HGTV Canada called Holmes Inspection where they repair homes of homeowners whose home inspections missed problems with the house. Mike does the initial inspection, but his second in command, Damon, is the lead on construction.

Congrats, Connie!

I'm several episodes behind on The Good Wife.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Congratulations, Connie!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

somehow I missed the previous mentions.

That's why Esposito called her Honeymilk, because there'd been a mention of him feeding her warm milk in episode 2. And there were a couple after that.

Busted again for doodling during meetings. But I have an awful "Carry On My Wayward Son" earworm, and I thought drawing Winchesters would at least get the stupid look off my face.

At least I got to sass the guy who flipped me off, and sassed him hard.

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

Me too, Hil. Some Tuesdays, The Office repeats seem like a less...fraught choice. Although I do like TGW...that "family starting over" thing hits home, sometimes.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Congressman Admits Tickle Fight, Nothing More

I got to tell the two developers in the meeting today that they were engaging in a "geek spiral." I felt all Eliot for a second. Leverage jokes, party of one...
