All I know is that around here the Democrats who seem to be supporting Massa are full of invective about Obama and Emmanuel for "running him out". They also seem to watch to poke Rahm Emmanuel in the ribs in the shower????

Wah. The guy at the T Mobile store turned my phone off. Which, normally, not an issue. Except I took it in because my power button wasn't working. So now that he popped the battery out, I can't turn it back on. I'm hoping that connecting it to my computer turns it back on (it worked over the weekend), but I'm grumpy because I did tell him it would happen.

And I have to pay UPS charges for the warranty replacement, and find a UPS dropoff. Hopefully I can do that in our mailroom at work.

Oh all-knowing hivemind, I come seeking assistance on a friend's behalf.

Friend foolishly and generously co-signed on a car lease with his now ex-gf. She also moved in while they were dating and is still living there and paying a pittance for rent. He gave her 30 days notice and now she's making life hell, has not looked for a place yet, and he's afraid she's going to take the car and leave him on the hook for payments.

Friend lives in Wake County, NC, and can't afford a lawyer.

Any words of wisdom? Online resources?

I was trying to finish a card for my sister's birthday that really should have gone in the mail Saturday. The printer gave me the "low ink" warning, but I thought, "I have the 'photo value pack' that came with the printer." I put in the colored cartridges, but the black one didn't look like the old one and didn't fit correctly. I fiddled with it a while, then turned to Google and found that I was one of many people who had the same problem, because the #564 black in for the Photosmart Plus printer is different than the #564 black ink for the non-Plus printer. Now I've spent about five hours on an hour project and still have to go out and hunt down the correct black ink, something that is still fraught with potential failures, since THEY HAVE THE SAME NUMBER. HP FAIL.

Also, I'm out of stamps and I ate all the Thin Mints.
