I was trying to finish a card for my sister's birthday that really should have gone in the mail Saturday. The printer gave me the "low ink" warning, but I thought, "I have the 'photo value pack' that came with the printer." I put in the colored cartridges, but the black one didn't look like the old one and didn't fit correctly. I fiddled with it a while, then turned to Google and found that I was one of many people who had the same problem, because the #564 black in for the Photosmart Plus printer is different than the #564 black ink for the non-Plus printer. Now I've spent about five hours on an hour project and still have to go out and hunt down the correct black ink, something that is still fraught with potential failures, since THEY HAVE THE SAME NUMBER. HP FAIL.
Also, I'm out of stamps and I ate all the Thin Mints.

My Dad was both a pinsetter and a river driver when he was a teenager. He was also a soda jerk and bragged about his subtle and complex soda mixes (I think the Lemon Coke best.)

The thing is just huge and amazing.
One of my mom's jobs was working in an accounting office at a department store. Then the clerk made the sale, she put the sales slip and the money or charge card or whatever in a pneumatic tube, and it want to the accounting office, who recorded it and sent it back down!
I don't really need a jet pack to be happy, just pneumatic tube systems and zeppelins.
You know what's wrong with this "modern" world? Not enough pneumatic tube systems.

You should get more hospitals in your life then. UCLA's flashy new hospital (the one where MJ got brought to) uses them. They're still au courant.
